The Cleveland Foundation Skating Rink will be open for FREE skating from Noon – 10 PM on December 31. The free skating offer includes skate rental and 45 minutes of skating time.  To take advantage of this free offer, stop by the skating kiosk in Public Square beginning at 10 AM on New Year’s Eve to pick-up free passes. Passes will be distributed for each 45-minute session chronologically until they run out.

Hotel Kilbourne’s New Year’s Eve Fireworks Celebration in historic downtown Sandusky was so much fun last year, they’re doing it again. Jackson St. Pier will be the launch point for the fireworks, making Hotel Kilbourne the perfect vantage point for the celebration. View from Moseley’s downstairs patio or on the rooftop bar. The New Year’s Eve Fireworks Celebration features a new 6:00 pm family fireworks show and the grand fireworks at 11:59 pm.
