Dandelion Drive – A Journey in Time

In 2016 several of Medina County’s historical societies got together and came up with the idea of hosting a History Day. A total of sixteen historical societies and museums across the county joined in and participated in the first History Day event.

As the year progressed, the group became known as the Historical Council of Medina County. There was too much ground to cover and most visitors could not attend all of the open historical societies and museums in just one day. Different regions throughout the county were formed and each year, the now Dandelion Drive – A Journey in Time, will be held the Sunday before Memorial Day weekend each year.

The drive-it-yourself tour will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 11am to 5pm. The stops will include: Litchfield Township Historical Society, York Historical Society, Medina County Historical Society, Medina Town Hall and Engine House Museum and The Little Wiz Fire Museum.
