EMBRACE THE COLD IN OHIO

Ohio knows how to have fun in the winter.  With over 70 state parks, 20 state forests, a great lake, numerous local and county parks, annual winter festivals, ski resorts, and outdoor ice rinks, Ohio offers something for everyone.

A winter wonderland of recreation awaits you in Ohio.

STATE OF OHIO PARKS

the night was icy but i didn’t mind
the sun was a long ways away
we sit our hands entwined
there was nothing we needed to say
we never gave up hope
the sun would come again
icicles hang from the trees
snow buries our feet
the night was icy but i didn’t mind

-poem by Jaime Domzalski
