Come join the City of Cleveland, Downtown Cleveland Alliance and North Coast Harbor for Ice Fest. A winter weekend activation that will take place between the Great Lakes Science Center and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame + Museum. The outside activities are free to the public. So bundle up and bring the whole family to enjoy over 20 beautiful ice displays.

Ice-A-Fair

A day-long winter event for the entire family filled with glittering sculptures and ice carving demos throughout historic downtown Vermilion. Tour the area by foot or via Lolly the Trolley ($2/person; $5/family); more than 20 shops and restaurants will be open to welcome visitors along with Jolly the Snowman and Pete the Penguin. Add a visit to Ritter Public Library to experience their popular Chocolate Festival and sample chocolate confections ($1/sample). Stop in at Main Street Vermilion to warm up with free hot chocolate, cider, and cookies and take a chance on an exciting array of raffle baskets. The event caps with a towering display of Fire & Ice, made possible with a grant from Erie County Community Foundation. You’re invited to the after party Meltdown at the Vermilion Boat Club for heavy hors d’oeurves around the fireplace and a great view of the river ($25/person). Frozen Fest

Farmpark Ice Festival

The new Farmpark Ice Festival will kick off Friday 1/27/17 night from 5 to 9 pm with the unveiling of a Farmpark-themed ice chair and an ice carving demonstration. The night will end with a battle between fire and ice!

On Saturday 1/28/17 from 9 am to 5 pm, the best ice carvers from around the country will take part in a speed carving competition. Then, come sit by one of our fire pits and warm up with hot cocoa and s’mores. Enjoy many other winter-themed family fun activities.

 

 

22nd Medina Ice Festival
Dates: February 17-20, 2017
Place:  32 Public Square, Medina, OH

Enjoy four days of frozen fun as one of Medina’s favorite events returns to the historic Medina Square. Over 50 sponsored carvings will be on view starting Friday afternoon and through Monday afternoon.

Each day, more works of frozen art are added to the Square during the competitions. Visit during the day and see the carving take place. Visit during the night, and see each sculpture illuminated with multi-colored LED lights. It’s a magical time to walk through the Square.

Burning Snowman Fest 2017
