Get out and explore Ohio this weekend.  So many great fall events are happening.  Below is just a sample of some of those events.

CUYAHOGA COUNTY

GOBLINS IN THE GARDEN

Enjoy wickedly cool decorated gardens and family-friendly activities at this not-so-spooky celebration of Halloween. Beautiful fall foliage is the perfect backdrop to one of the Arboretum’s most popular events – Goblins in the Garden! Bring your costumed little ones for trick-or-treating, wagon rides, a cornstalk maze, face painting and crafts. Live entertainment and cash concessions will also be on hand.

BEACHWOOD FALL FESTIVAL
Date: October 8, 2017
Time: Noon – 6PM

GEAUGA COUNTY

We have many vendors and crafters filling our two buildings along with a midway of fabulous food. Join in one of our free contests such as Apple Peeling, Pumpkin Pie Eating, Bubble Gum Blowing, Rock Toss, Egg Toss, Nail pounding, decorated and craved pumpkins trophies and ribbons awarded to the winners.

This year our attractions include Jungle Terry, Antique Tractors & Engines, Classic Car Show, Fort Huntsburg Country Band, Cardinal School Show Choir the Cardinaires, The Cardinal Marching Band, Bagpipe performance by Geauga Highlanders, The Usual Suspects Band, Country Singer Raelynn Debevits, K-9, Demos by Geauga County Sheriff’s Dept., The University Hospital Pet Pals and the Walnut Hill Cloggers. Our Super parade is Sunday at 2:15.

CORN AND PUMPKIN FESTIVAL

Lake Metroparks Farmpark continues a tradition of celebrating the harvest season with Corn & Pumpkin Festival. Help husk, shell and grind the corn or plow behind draft horses while younger visitors make handmade corn husk dolls and paint pumpkins.

“This weekend is to celebrate all things Pumpkin so come out and check out Ohio’s largest Giant Pumpkins! Check out some amazing pumping carving demonstrations.  If you’re feelin’ hungry, sign up for the ultimate Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest. No matter what you do, make sure you come pick out your own pumpkins to carve, decorate in the craft tent, and take home to enjoy for the holidays! OTTAWA COUNTY
