Holiday Pop-up Merriment Hits Ohio’s Wine Country.

Looking for something different to do this year with friends or as a getaway? Head to Ohio’s Wine Country and frolic in the holiday cheer. This year, Debonne’ Vineyards and Grand River Cellars have opened the bottle to festive fun. From their decorations to their holiday themed menu items and specialty drinks;   these charming Christmas pop-ups are a merry way to enjoy the holidays.

Only in Ohio’s Wine Country.

RUDOLPH’S REVENGE POP-UP BAR

I know somewhere in your home is a Rudolph sweater with a blinking red noise, just waiting to join in all the reindeer fun.  Now is your chance to pull it out and turn that blinking light on. The jolly crew at Debonne Vineyards have gone out of their way to bring the magic of this holiday classic to the vineyard.

Once you and your “team” arrives at the winery, Santa and Rudolph will greet you at the door with a merry song and a welcome to the North Pole. Inside twinkling lights and fun holiday decor can be found throughout the winery.  There is a festive picture station, where you can choose props to wear and an animatronic reindeer that is just adorable. Perfect spot to snap those holiday memories.

My advice. Go hungry. A themed Christmas Bar menu awaits. Holiday favorites include “Blitzen’s Buffalo Dip”, Reindeer Games Gouda Bisque”, “Misfit Medley Salad”, “All of the Other Reindeer Steak Sub” and more. Leave room for dessert! The “Terrible Weather Tiramisu”, “Iceberg Ube Cheesecake” or the “Like a Lightbulb Lemon-Berry Cake” are sure to “go down in history”.

Not to be outshined by the holiday food choices, the Christmas Bar cocktail menu includes fun choices like the “Blueberry Bumble”, “Tipsy Rudolph”, “Misfit’s Mulled Wine Warmer”, “Hermy’s Hot Chocolate” and more.

Non-alcoholic drinks are available if you want to bring the whole family.

So, call Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen as well as all your other reindeer friends and head out to Ohio’s Wine Country for a fun evening of “glee”.
