Explore the charming square of Medina, Ohio.
If you have never taken a road trip to the picturesque town of Medina, which was originally part of the Connecticut Western Reserve area, then you are truly missing the opportunity to explore one of Ohio’s most charming squares. A definite Norman Rockwell painting. The county courthouse towers over one side of the square and the rest of the square is surrounded by mom and pop shops that offer an afternoon of shopping and exploring.

Celebrating the Donut
The first Friday of each June, America celebrates National Donut Day. As a way of celebrating the Salvation Army’s World War I “doughnut girls”, the organization created the day to raise awareness of their organization and to celebrate these ladies.

The Fellows Riverside Gardens is a free public garden located in the city of Youngstown. The twelve-acre display garden includes a collection of seasonal bulbs, flowering beds, flowering trees and shrubs, and beautiful walkways; along with scenic views, a delightful garden shop, a gallery, a library, and a seasonal garden café .

Anytime of year is a great time to take a road trip to Ohio’s Amish Country. Signs of the each season can be found everywhere. In the spring local families are out plowing their farms and tending to their crops. Summer and fall Amish buggies can be seen heading to market.
