A Charming Wayne County Road Trip Destination.
🍋 “Oh, those Lemon Muffins!”
“Road tripping through Wayne County? Make time for a visit to Pine Tree Barn.”
Located just a few minutes from Downtown Wooster, Pine Tree Barn is housed in a restored 1868 bank barn filled with home furnishings, a gift shop, year-round holiday decorations, and a charming restaurant that offers views of the Kilbuck Valley.
This 3rd generation, family-run destination also sells Christmas trees from their farm during the Christmas season. Making it a perfect destination during the holidays.

A visit would not be complete without enjoying lunch at the Granary Restaurant. The menu includes a nice selection of fresh salads, sandwiches, crepes, pasta, their famous French Onion soup and a dessert menu that includes pies, a brownie praline pecan sundae, cheesecake and those wonderful Lemon Muffins.
My go-to menu item is their quiche of the day alongside a spinach salad topped with warm bacon dressing. So good!
Now about those Lemon Muffins. The locals all know, and visitors soon learn that the Lemon Muffins are 5-stars. Created 25 years ago by Chef Brenda, these delightful grated lemon zest infused muffins with their crumb topping are so worth the road trip.
🍋 If you don’t have enough room in your stomach to enjoy a muffin with your lunch, I do suggest you grab a 4-pack for home.
