ATHENS COUNTY (NE OH)

All rides depart from the Nelsonville Depot, located at 33 W. Canal Street along Business U.S. Route 33 in Nelsonville, Ohio.

SANTA TRAIN
These ever-popular trains begin Saturday, Nov. 29, and continue each day Thursday-Sunday through Dec. 21.
Two trains depart the Nelsonville Depot traveling round-trip to East Logan and back each Saturday and Sunday during that time at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. We will also have an evening departure time of 6 p.m. on Nov. 29, the 4th, 5th, 6th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 18th, 19th, and 20th of December!
Each train features the same theme – Santa gets on board the train and visits with each child as the train traverses the historic (and with any luck, snow-covered) Hocking River Valley.

Dates: November 29-30 and December 6 & 7, 13 & 14. The train will leave our station at 12:30, 2:00, 3:30, 5:00 and 6:30 P.M. on Saturdays. On Sundays, the train will leave at 12:30, 2:00, 3:30 and 5:00 P.M.

The North Pole Express, operated by the LM&M Railroad, is a magical event where everyone can experience the wonder of the holiday season as they journey down the train tracks of Warren County, Ohio. Passengers spend time with Santa and his elves on the 1 Hour & 15 minute festive train ride. Train cars are decorated with holiday lights and decorations, adding to the cheer found throughout the event.
