GO AHEAD AND GET IN THE CAGE
Feel brave? Purchase a seat in the shark cage. The cage is placed in the middle of the arena which gives you a 360 degree view of all the action. Lets just say you get a real “bull’s eye” view. Seating is very limited and prior ticket purchase is suggested.
One more experience I got to check off my bucket list.
MUTTON BUSTIN’
Even the little ones can get in on the rodeo action. For the pint-size cowpokes who want to try their hand at riding like bull riders, there is Mutton Bustin’. Which consists of wearing a helmet and holding on to a sheep as it takes off out of the gate. On Saturday, June 13th, Buckin’ Ohio is also offering a Mutton Bustin’ School. THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
- The ranch is located a little over a 1/2 mile off the freeway. (I-71, Rt 83/Exit #204)
- When possible, purchase your tickets ahead of time. (Cash or credit card accepted at the gate.)
- Wear comfortable shoes (it is a working ranch) and dress for the weather.
- Refreshments are available for purchase on-site.
- Parking is free and located in grass pasture.
