Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens is once again celebrating the season with their annual “Deck the Hall” and Dazzle lightshow. Twenty spaces in the Manor House are decorated – including 23 trees. This year I had a hard time picking my top three rooms.  But after much thought I really loved the paper magic in the Library, the festive and classic Dining Room and the Breakfast Room.  How can you not love the Muppets and hanging chickens?

On the estate grounds there are over 1.4 million lights illuminating the pathways and gardens.  You will also find photo op stations throughout the estate. They day of my visit it was raining, but that did not dampen the light display or the tour. (Just watch the weather, dress accordingly and bring an umbrella if necessary.)

Just one of the photo op stations on the estate.

The Playgarden has been turned into a magical snow and ice wonderland. A great place for photo ops. The lighted picture frame is perfect for family or group photos. Don’t forget to snap a few around the adorable blue truck.

ALLOW TIME to visit the Corbin Conservatory, where you will find beautiful holiday poinsettia’s to purchase. Bring cash. The blue and purple poinsettias were so pretty and different.
