Winter Wonderfest 2024
GET THOSE CHRISTMAS BUCKET LISTS OUT.
I recently attended the preview night for this new family-friendly Christmas holiday event located in Hartville Ohio that is sure to become a holiday favorite tradition.
This year, between November 22nd and December 28th, the Hartville MarketPlace & Flea Market are debuting their new spectacular holiday light display filled with over 500,000 holiday lights, animatronic animations, festive holiday activities and photo stations.
Start the magical evening listening to a story from Santa Claus. Then it’s off to view the holiday lights. This wonderful holiday walk-thru light display includes animated scenes, like the Racoon Band, a Teddy Bear Christmas, Elf Bakery and more. There are even two interactive lighting displays that are sure to put smiles on your face.
Even Santa and Mrs. Claus make an appearance. Candy canes in hand, they are ready to listen to all your holiday wishes. As you can see from Santa’s expression, I may have made, well, the other list.
UNIQUE SELFIE STOPS
The lighted replica ice chair is perfect thrown for photos. The true meaning of Christmas comes to light as you make your way around to a beautiful pair of lighted angel wings. Past the wings you will be greeted by trumpeting angels and a nativity scene highlighting the birth of Jesus Christ.
Guests easily navigate through the display. There is a outdoor carpeted path that leads you around the center court where you can cozy up to one of the three fire tables, enjoy refreshments and watch the synchronized lights on the large 30-foot Christmas tree.
Don’t forget to look “up on the rooftop” where you will find Santa and his reindeer. And on top of the MarketPlace roof you will even spot Santa stringing the lights.
The large sized holiday ornament and sleigh are sure to catch your eye and your pictures.
Hot cinnamon and salted pretzels, freshly made kettle corn, roasted nuts, and homemade bread pudding are just a few of the holiday favorites you will find available for purchase. Don’t forget to order a cup of fresh-made hot cocoa from Mrs. Claus’s Cocoa Cabin. You can even purchase your own s’mores kit.
I walked around more than once and each time I spotted something I missed. Make sure you go threw the “Go and Glow Car Wash” and watch the Hartville Hardware elves hard at work.
Not included in the price of your ticket.

– The Bear Factory where you can build your own stuffed animal, located inside the marketplace.
