The U.S. Air Force F-16 Viper Demo Team to highlight the annual Props and Pistons Festival

Akron, Ohio – April 2, 2026 – The Akron-Fulton Airport and Inspire Aviation will once again host the annual Props and Pistons Festival, a family-oriented air and automotive show taking place August 15–16, 2026. This year, the festival is thrilled to feature the United States Air Force F-16 Viper Demo Team, adding an exciting highlight to an already action-packed weekend.

The festival offers a wide range of experiences for all ages, including STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities, flying demonstrations, historic aircraft on display, and a classic car show. Last year, the Props and Pistons Festival was selected as the host venue for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) Fly-In, further enhancing opportunities for
education and engagement in aviation.

Visitors can get up close to the world of flight through aircraft tours, warbird and biplane rides, helicopter flights, and now, the F-16 demo team. The festival’s mission is to provide hands-on
learning experiences that inspire interest in aviation, historic aircraft, and STEM-related crafts.

Additional attractions include free flight simulators, motivational speakers, historical aviation exhibits, and educational activities for kids, making the Props and Pistons Festival truly an immersive experience for the whole family.
