Yes, I guess you would say I am an OHIO travel and tourism influencer.

My name is Diane and I love all things about traveling. I started my love at an early age. My parents did not take us on lavish trips, instead we packed up the trailer and headed north, south, east and west. We went to World’s Fairs, visited all the tourist hot spots throughout the US, spent summers on an island, and so much more. Wherever we could pull that trailer we went. One day, I will share our version of “Family Vacation” tales that will include a tornado, Yellowstone bears, a July 4th flooding, shark teeth hunting, and other travel experiences.

Today, and for the past 30+ years, I have been “telling people where to go” all over Ohio. In 2000, I created my first website, Northern Ohio Tourism. The website was a place where I shared upcoming events, festivals and suggest places to visit. MyOhioFun.com soon replaced the website and became a place where I could share festival information, road trip ideas and more.

When I am not traveling, I enjoy reading, baking, visiting tea shops and pretending I know how to make things.

I served as the Director for Northern Summit County Tourist and Business Information Center, and I am currently the Executive Director for Adventures in Northeast Ohio and Central Portage County VCB. My words and images have been published in AAA Ohio Magazine, Compass Ohio, Long Weekends, and in local travel brochures.

Throughout the year I still lead bus groups and I can be found as an Ohio travel influencer on social media platforms.
