Chocolate smells will soon be filling the air. Around Ohio, many chocolatiers’ will be working overtime to create some of Ohio’s most delicious chocolate treats.

TRUFFLE MAKING ON THE TRAIN

Climb on board and enjoy a scenic trip through the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad while making delicious chocolate truffles. You’ll use a ‘no cook,’ ‘no bake’ method to make our yummy adult truffles, made with love and alcohol.

Tickets are $65 per person. Must be at least 21 years old to ride (alcohol served).

 

BEDFORD DOWNTOWN CHOCOLATE WALK

MAIN STREET KENT CHOCOLATE WALK – SOLD OUT

The Main Street Kent Chocolate Walk will take place on Sat., Feb. 8, in downtown Kent. Tickets go on sale Mon., Jan. 6 at 12pm EST on Eventbrite: eventbrite.com

Ticket holders will check in at the Destination Kent Visitor Centre from 12pm-3pm to pick up Chocolate Walk maps, “passes,” and bags to collect their chocolate treats. The event will run from 12pm-5pm. (So be sure to check in by 3pm!)

Guests can stop at dozens of participating businesses to gather their chocolate surprises while shopping, having lunch, coffee, and/or drinks along the way from 12pm-5pm.

Ticket holders will be entered in a drawing for the grand prize: an overnight stay at the Kent State Hotel & Conference Center and dinner for two! Winner must be at least 21 years of age; alternate prize for winner under 21 years of age will be a $150 gift card. Drawing will be held on Monday, Feb. 10.

This is an all-weather event and tickets are non-refundable. Limit six tickets per person. All chocolate treats are donated by participating businesses and event proceeds will benefit Main Street Kent in support of our efforts to make downtown Kent a fun, vibrant and thriving place.
