15th Annual International Wine at the Mill Festival

Loudonville, Ohio – June 9th, 2018, is the 15th Annual International Wine at the Mill Festival from noon-11pm. This is the highlight event of the year to kick off the summer. Good food, wine, music and more will entertain all of the senses. This wonderful event also helps the Mill’s operations.
Ohio wines to be featured will be D&D Smith Winery, Paper Moon Vineyards and many more. All wines can be sampled and bought by the glass or bottle. Mark Smith, Founder and President of Wolf Creek Mill says that they are excited about this year’s event, “We will have 100 varieties of International & Ohio wine, domestic beer, live music, food vendors, all beautifully situated on the banks of Pine Run Creek, large tents, raffles, prizes, free transportation.”
Smith explains that shuttle transportation has changed, “We are requesting all guests, to double check where they are staying this year. The shuttle sponsors have changed. We know several attendees have reserved their overnight a year ago to use the shuttle. We just want everyone to have a good and safe time.” Shuttle and overnight sponsors include Arrow Point Campground, Mohican Adventures, Mohican Little Brown Inn, Mohican State Park Campground, Wally World Resort and Central Park-Loudonville, by the Public Restrooms for those closer to downtown Loudonville. The shuttle will take attendees back and forth from the event beginning at 2pm.
Enjoy “Vine Art” canvas painting session from 1-3 pm. This event is an additional $20. Enjoy wine while creating a personalized piece of art.
Discounted pre-sale tickets can be purchased for $8 at Lingenfelter Jewelers in downtown Loudonville or on-line at WolfCreekMill.org.  All presale tickets purchased online are claimed at the admission gate with valid ID. Tickets at the gate will be $10. Each adult ticket includes a logo wine glass and 10 tasting tickets.
The International Wine at the Mill Festival has moved its location to just down the road from the mill. As always, look for the banner and all proceeds go to the Friends of the Wolf Creek Grist Mill, a non-profit organization, to be used to continue the preservation efforts. “I think people would be amazed on what we started with years ago. The Mill was slated to be condemned,” states Smith. “If it weren’t for these events and the support of the visitors, the Mill simply would not be here.” Wolf Creek Grist Mill now has over 5 cabins and a working mill available for all visitors to enjoy. This is in-line with the mission to preserve a vanishing part of heritage for future generations to enjoy and learn from. For more information visit WolfCreekMill.org.
