Hale Farm & Village Rounds Off Spring with Pollinator Festival and Plant Sale

Hale Farm & Village invites guests to enjoy the sights and sounds of spring as they explore the seasonal work of a 19th century farm through hands-on activities and immersive experiences! Community partners will highlight both the historic and modern-day benefits of the Cuyahoga Valley’s natural resources, and the importance of supporting native plants, pollinators, and wildlife. “This event allows guests to experience incredible biology and natural resources of our farm and the Cuyahoga Valley through immersive, interactive programming.” -Travis Henline, Hale Farm & Village Director.

 

 

Bring a piece of Hale home by visiting the Citizens of Hale annual plant sale, occurring both Saturday and Sunday, featuring a variety of plants grown onsite. Proceeds from the sale support the maintenance and historic interpretation of the Hale Farm & Village gardens. Program partners include: Akron Public Library, Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, Trail
Light Farms, Great Lakes Brewing Company, University of Akron Field Station, Urban Honey Bee, Have a Hive, Citizens of Hale and Bath Gamma Garden Club.

Regular museum hours are Wednesday through Sunday, from 10:00am-4:00pm. Tickets may be purchased onsite at the Visitor’s Center. Admission is $15 for adults (13 and up), $8 for children (3-12) and free for active military and WRHS members.
