Just Weeks Away at Put-in-Bay

Put-in-Bay Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau and Shores & Islands Ohio, (July 24, 2023) — With just weeks to go, final preparations are being made to welcome music megastars Pitbull and Luke Bryan along with eight supporting acts and thousands of fans, to Put-in-Bay for Bash on the Bay 6!
Bash on the Bay 6, owned by 614 Events, Inc., will take place over two days – Wednesday, August 23 and Thursday, August 24, on the grounds of the Put-in-Bay Airport on South Bass Island, Put-in-Bay, Ohio VisitPutinBay.com. Wednesday night’s headliner Pitbull is an American rapper, singer and songwriter known for his high energy dance music. Also known as Mr. Worldwide has won both American and Latin Grammy Awards for his Latin hip hop dance music. Thursday night’s headliner is Luke Bryan country western singer, songwriter, and TV personality. Bryan is a five-time Entertainer of the Year for both the Academy of Country Music and the County Music Association.
The concert will be held outdoors on the grounds of the Put-in-Bay Airport. Wednesday, Aug. 23 lineup includes: Pitbull, Elle King, Filmore, Ashland Craft and Kaylyn Pace. Thursday, Aug. 24 will feature Luke Bryan, Brothers Osborne, Dylan Scott, Adam Doleac, and Cory Farley.
Concert-goers are reminded that gates open each day at 2:30 pm with the first act starting at 3 pm. The Langram Rd. entrance will be for ADA ticket holders only; all other patrons should enter at either the north or south runway gates. Golf cart parking and limited car parking is available at the south end of the airport runway; a $10 fee supports local civic groups. While food, beverage and merchandise vendors will accept credit cards, cash is preferred. This event will use the NFL bag policy available at: nfl.com/allclear. In case of inclement weather, the official Bash on the Bay radio station, K-100 Toledo will provide updates.
A very limited number of rooms are still available at Put-in-Bay. There are also many lodging options in mainland communities located near the ferry terminals. Both the Jet Express and Miller Ferries will be running late night service from Put-in-Bay to their mainland ports. Visit these websites for more details.
