The Starlight Room – Castle Noel
Hey fellow travelers!
I recently enjoyed a delightful lunch at the new Starlight Room at Castle Noel. From the delicious, chef-crafted dishes to the Castle Noel–inspired musical light show, everything felt festive and fun—including ordering from a menu made up of classic holiday movie quotes.
I started with an Orange Creamsicle mocktail, followed by the “Vermont should be beautiful this time of year” White Christmas Salad with fresh greens, feta, candied pecans, cranberries, and poppyseed dressing. I also tried the “Oh, Christmas isn’t just a frame of mind” Fried Veggies. I haven’t had battered fried veggies taste this good in a long time. Could it be because they fry them in Beef Tallow?
Sandwiches and appetizers arrive from the on-site kitchen in charming gift-style boxes, adding to the holiday-themed atmosphere. I loved that they use Homer Laughlin China for their dishes. It was like bringing out the good holiday china. Their menu also includes soups, paninis, stuffed burgers, specials, kids’ options, desserts, and adult beverages. Let’s not forget the Castle Noel sugar cookie, Santa’s favorite. 🎅 Portions are not small and the menu is reasonably priced.
Hats off again to Mark and Dana Klaus and their hardworking team of elves for another extraordinary experience. Such a wonderful addition to an already magical place. Families, groups, and friend meet-ups will love it.

A museum tour isn’t required, but it’s worth pairing your meal with one—along with a round of Alien Vacation 3-D Golf.
There is some parking on-site. Additional parking may found at area City lots. Timed street parking is also available.
