The Warehouse Steak & Stein, located in Historic Roscoe Village

Built around 1838 by Arnold Medbery, this building was used not only as a warehouse for cargo brought by boats on the Ohio & Erie Canal, but also as a general store and it served as the Roscoe Post Office. The handsome building is a blend of both Greek Revival and Federal style architecture. It rests on a foundation of solid sandstone blocks from a nearby quarry. Plain stone lintels are found above each of the building’s 26 main windows. The facade is highlighted with a Palladian window, arched with an Adam style fanlight and flanked on each side with a split fanlight.

The Warehouse Restaurant – Roscoe Village

The main floor is home to The Warehouse Restaurant and offers an extensive menu in a cozy and historic setting. P.R. Nye’s Lock 27 Tavern is located on the lower level and is a great place to grab a drink, enjoy a meal and listen to live music. During the warm months, pet-friendly dining is available in the garden court patio.

The Warehouse hosts one of the region’s best comedy clubs on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays from January – April and offers live acoustic music in the garden court during the summer.
