A Bigfoot Adventure

Bigfoot enthusiasts will be howling following the adventure planned at the Carroll County Park District event; Howls In The Dark…..A Bigfoot Adventure to be held at the Bluebird Farm Park Amphitheater on Saturday, October 27, 2018. The Adventure begins at 4:00pm with the Bigfoot Chili Cook Off of area businesses and the general public. Music, soft drinks and beer will be available. No dogs or outside food or beverages will be permitted during the event.

If you think you can prepare a great crock of chili, you need to contact the Carroll County Park District for a chili cook off application. The chili will be served throughout the afternoon from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Some great prizes will be awarded. Unlimited tastings will be available for $5.00 / $2.00 for kids 6 to 12 and under 5 are free. Proceeds help pay  for special projects within the parks.

A Bigfoot costume and calling contest will take place at 6:45pm. Those who wish to enter those contests will need to register by 6:00 pm for this FREE event. Prizes will be presented for the best costume and caller.

Marc DeWerth, President of The Ohio Bigfoot Organization,  returns to the Bluebird Farm Park loaded with audio recordings of Bigfoot vocalizations and wood knocks that will be listened to in the dark. A night hike is planned as well. Dale Alexander, Director of Carroll County Park District said, “This adventure starts with the chili cook off at 4:00pm. Then the costume contest and calling contest at 6:45pm. Then at 7:00pm hearing all the vocals out in the open, at night, in the dark will be much more exciting than listening to them in a room. MarcDeWerth is Ohio’s leading authority on Bigfoot and travels all over the state.  Marc is also well known for his annual Bigfoot Conference at Salt Fork.  The event will take place at the Amphitheatre and new pavilion so weather shouldn’t be an issue.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets….and a big appetite…..food and beverages will be served starting at 4:00pm 330-627-8046,[email protected]
