1. Olde Fashioned Christmas at Lanterman’s Mill

November 27 – 28, 2021

Enjoy the traditional holiday atmosphere at Lanterman’s Mill. Fire-roasted chestnuts, artisans demonstrating crafts, unique handcrafted gifts for sale, and festive entertainment will lift your spirits. To share the holiday spirit with others, bring a new hat, scarf, or pair of mittens to decorate a “Giving Tree.” Donated items will warm up children in need this winter.

2. Step back in time at the Arms Family Museum for Memories of Christmas Past: Back to Greystone.

The Arms Family Museum is sparkling for the holiday season! The 13th Memories of Christmas Past exhibit will open on Saturday, November 20, 2021 and be on display through Friday, December 31, 2021. This season’s overall theme, “Back to Greystone,” will not only reflect the return to an in-person, museum experience for the holiday season but will also portray festive décor and traditions during the 1900s to the 1930s, inspired by how Olive F. A. Arms might have dressed and decorated her home in that era. As part of this year’s safety precautions, masks are required.

The Butler Institute of American Art

3. Find that perfect gift at 50th Annual American Holiday at The Butler Arts & Crafts Show.

An American Holiday at The Butler is an annual arts and craft show. The Butler’s annual holiday show and sale will feature original, one of a kind creations of over 90 artists and artisans inside the museum – a historical architectural masterpiece! Holiday entertainment is scheduled throughout the event as well. Visitors can browse a variety of beautifully unique, hand-crafted pieces that will satisfy most everyone on their gift lists. From pottery, paintings and prints, glass and decor to jewelry, toys, herbal products, yummy treats and more.

4. Do a little holiday shopping at White House Fruit Farm’s Winter Gift Barn. Don’t forget to take home a dozen or more of their famous blueberry donuts!

Christmas on the Farm takes place Saturday, December 11 & Sunday, December 12, from 11:00am-4:00pm.

Take a horse-drawn wagon or carriage ride through the orchard, shop the Winter gift barn, enjoy hot chocolate and coffee from Cozé, and roast hot dogs and s’mores.

Even Santa and his reindeer make an appearance! Take home holiday donuts, baked goods, Christmas Gold Rush apple cider, or Hartzler’s Eggnog. It’s a great old-fashioned holiday experience for the entire family.

10. Enjoy the twinkling of lights at the Elegant Illusions Christmas Lights Drive-Through.
