Victorian House Museum – Millersburg
Hey fellow travelers. Have you ever taken a trip to the Victorian House Museum/Holmes County Historical Society in Millersburg OH?
Built in 1901, this 28-room Queen Anne style home was built by Cleveland industrialist L. H. Brightman. The home is approximately 7,000 square feet and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
From the beautiful entryway and staircase to the dining area and adorable pantries, this home is truly a historical treasure that has had quite a past.
Throughout the year the home hosts a seasonal holiday home tour, tea events, lectures and even 👻 “ghost” tours. According to staff, there are a few ghostly guests that make the museum their home. Visit their website for published events.
Don’t forget to allow time to tour the Sieverdes Millersburg Glass Museum next door. The museum chronicles Millersburg’s history of glass making as well as displays a beautiful collection of local glass. The glass museum is on the America 250-Ohio Creativity Trail.
For $10 you can tour the Victorian home. $13 for both museums. Full seasonal hours: April 1 – October 31. Closed on Mondays.
