Road Trippin’ through Ohio’s Amish Country.
Planning a road trip to Ohio’s Amish Country? Need help deciding what attractions to visit, where to shop and stay? My Ohio Fun is here to help.
Step 1:
Decide what Ohio Amish Country region you would like to visit. Ohio’s Amish community call home throughout northeast Ohio. You will find the largest concentration of Amish buggies and businesses in Holmes County. The Amish businesses also spill over in neighboring counties: Ashland, Stark. Tuscarawas, and Wayne.
Further north in Geauga County and a short 45 minute ride from Downtown Cleveland, you will find another community of Amish.
For many, a pilgrimage to Holmes County is usually a first stop.
Step 2:
Time to plan your itinerary. First, are you planning a day trip, overnight, or a longer trip? Not sure? Need ideas? You can start by downloading or ordering your FREE area visitor guides. (Most of the larger businesses in Holmes Cunty have brochure displays filled with area attractions and visitor bureau brochures.)
