Planning a road trip to Ohio’s Amish Country? Need help deciding what attractions to visit, where to shop and stay? My Ohio Fun is here to help.

Step 1:

Decide what Ohio Amish Country region you would like to visit. Ohio’s Amish community call home throughout northeast Ohio. You will find the largest concentration of Amish buggies and businesses in Holmes County. The Amish businesses also spill over in these neighboring counties: Ashland, Stark. Tuscarawas, and Wayne.

For many, a pilgrimage to Holmes County is usually a first stop.

Further north in Geauga and Trumbull Counties and a short 45 minute ride from Downtown Cleveland, you will find the 4th largest concentration of Amish in the States.

Ohio Wine & Cheese Road Trip

On this road trip you will have the option to visit 3 wineries, 4 cheese stops, the area’s favorite chocolate maker, a farm market & bakery, learn a little about Amish & Mennonite history and visit a Giant Cuckoo Clock .

Exploring Millersburg Ohio.

Millersburg is the county seat for Holmes County, and unlike some of the more “tourist areas” in the county, I found Millersburg full of history and a delightful step away from the touristy norm. Unique shops, very friendly people and quaint small town charm.
