Top 3 Outdoor Farmers Markets in Northeast Ohio.
If you are looking for ways to support local and buy fresh, these three northeast Ohio farmers markets make my list for great vendors and offerings. From fresh seasonal produce to handmade goods and plants, you are sure to find a few items to bring home.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Although many of the vendors take cards, I like to bring cash so these small businesses do not have to pay a credit card fee and I also have cash on hand for those who do not accept cards.
Dress for the weather. Wear footwear for the grassy markets. Markets run rain or shine. (Except severe storms.)
Coffee lovers rejoice. There is usually a coffee vendor at every market. A fresh pour-over is delightful. Don’t forget to search out the bakers.
Make things easier, bring your own shopping bags or baskets. Pack a cooler for any perishable items, including meat products.
Live music can be found playing at the markets.
