Wooly Pig Farm Brewery
The Wooly Pig Farm Brewery is located on the site of a historic farm. Rustic planks and hand-hewn beams salvaged from a collapsed outbuilding integrate the tasting room to the farm’s history. Its beers are sourced from a farm well developed for the original farm’s animals and crops. Between the brewery and the old farmhouse, a row of Saaz hops climb 20-foot-tall trellises.

The curly-haired mangalitsa pigs that forage for hickory nuts on the farm’s hillsides contribute to the brewery by consuming the spent grain. Mangalitsas are a Hungarian heritage pig breed that grow thick curly hair causing visitors in winter months to mistake them for sheep, hence the name “wooly pig.” This family-operated brewery is committed to sustainable farming practices, preserving the farm’s natural resources, and minimizing the brewery’s footprint.
The Wooly Pig strives to be a place with a variety of spaces fostering intimate chats or group energy. (Not a TV or screen to be seen.) Drinking good beer is a collective experience. It’s an informal gesture that brings people together. It invites everyone—friend, neighbor and stranger—to the table, for a shared experience and to share experiences.
